Kaitlin Hall
Senior Legal Assistant/Office Manager
Kaitlin has been working in immigration law since 2009. Her focus areas are affirmative and defensively-filed asylum cases, cases in litigation before the immigration court, humanitarian-based applications including VAWA self-petitions and U-visa applications for victims of certain crimes, as well as Immigrant Visa processing through consular posts abroad. She graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a degree in Criminal Justice Studies, and a minor in Spanish. Kaitlin is fluent in English and Spanish.

Monica Lopez
Legal Assistant
Monica has been working in immigration law since 2013. Her focus areas are Immigrant Visas and the associated processing through consular posts abroad, affirmative family-based and humanitarian-based petitions, and military Parole in Place applications for family members of U.S. service members. In addition, Monica handles the vast majority of work permit renewals for the office. Monica is fluent in English and Spanish.

Tania Barragan
Legal Assistant
Tania has been working in immigration law since 2018. Her focus areas are Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) applications and associated state guardianships, and immigration court hearing preparation. Tania manages Malott Law’s litigation docket including managing all procedural compliance for Malott Law clients’ cases in litigation before the immigration court, tracking Notices to Appear not yet filed by ICE with the immigration court, and handling various class-action lawsuits as they pertain to Malott Law clients. Tania graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Alondra Guerrero
Receptionist
Alondra joined Malott Law in 2023. She is likely the first interaction you will have with our office. She manages all of Malott Law’s scheduling and calendar, and all client communications. Additionally, Alondra ensures all outgoing and incoming client documentation adheres to the firm’s ethical obligations for record-keeping and privacy protection. Alondra is fluent in English and Spanish.
