Jack mainly practices in immigration law at Malott Law, PLC. He is proficient in Spanish and most of his clients only speak Spanish.
Jack graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in philosophy in 2012 after studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a year. He went on to earn his law degree with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2016. At law school, Jack spent two years working in the University of Iowa Legal Clinic’s immigration office and earned the Michelle R. Bennett Award for Client Service. He also interned with the Public Defender’s Office in Iowa City, and helped create a guide to potential immigration consequences for Iowa criminal convictions through the school’s Advanced Immigration Law and Policy seminar. Jack has also argued before the Supreme Court of Iowa.
Jack works primarily in removal defense (immigration court), but also represents clients in Iowa in criminal, family law and probate cases.
Jack is licensed to practice law in Iowa and is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
